Travel Oncology RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital oncology unit in Richmond, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The 24-bed unit uses Meditech and typically manages 5:1 to 6:1 patient ratios while providing chemotherapy care in a dedicated education unit.

• Monitor patients receiving chemotherapy and respond to changes in condition
• Assess pain, symptoms, labs, and treatment tolerance
• Administer medications and coordinate ordered therapies
• Educate patients and families about treatment and self-care
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff on daily care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Medical-surgical nursing background
• Oncology nursing experience
• Meditech charting experience
• Strong assessment and patient education skills
