Travel Oncology RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will care for adult oncology patients in a hospital in Richmond, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The 24-bed unit uses Meditech charting and typically sees 5:1 to 6:1 assignments. It is a dedicated education unit with a strong patient experience focus.

• Assess oncology patients and track treatment responses
• Administer medications and support chemotherapy care
• Monitor labs, symptoms, and changes in condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document care and patient education in Meditech
• Reinforce bedside reporting, hourly safety rounds, and whiteboard communication
• Support discharge planning and ongoing patient teaching

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Medical-surgical nursing background
• Oncology nursing skills
• Strong assessment and medication administration skills
