Travel Oncology RN in Hermiston, OR

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will care for chemotherapy patients in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Hermiston, Oregon. The role involves treatment administration, patient teaching, triage, counseling, and a computerized plan of care.

• Administer chemotherapy medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assess patient status and respond to clinical changes
• Teach and counsel chemotherapy patients and families
• Initiate and maintain the computerized plan of care
• Communicate with physicians, nurse leaders, and the care team
• Support delegation, supervision, and performance improvement activities
• Provide compassionate, age-specific care

• Active Oregon Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• BLS
• ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card
• Minimum 3 years experience

• BSN
• Previous oncology experience
• Oncology Nursing Certification
