Travel Oncology RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a mixed-age unit for a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit has 5 beds, supports phlebotomy, averages 40 visits per day, and uses Epic charting.

• Administer chemotherapy, infusions, and related medications
• Assess patients across infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult age groups
• Monitor vital signs, pain, and treatment responses
• Perform venipuncture, phlebotomy, and urine specimen collection
• Review laboratory results and report changes in condition
• Document care and treatments in Epic
• Provide education on oncology care and follow-up needs

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and oncology chemotherapy certification
• 3 years of oncology experience
• Epic charting experience
• Adult, pediatric, infant, and adolescent care; venipuncture; IV infusions; Foley catheter management; hearing screening; height and weight; pulse oximetry; altered level of consciousness assessment; pain assessment; laboratory review; health history and allergy review; urine testing

• OCN certification
• Triage and telephone triage
• Patient teaching and medication reconciliation
• Urology experience
