Travel Oncology RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will support outpatient radiation care in a clinic setting on a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit serves adults and averages about 50 patient visits a day. Epic is used for charting.

• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
• Provide patient education on treatment and symptom management
• Triage patient calls and respond to care concerns
• Perform wound assessment and wound care
• Monitor medication side effects and changes in condition
• Support adult outpatient oncology care

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 3 years of medical surgical Registered Nurse experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Peripheral IV, venipuncture, wound assessment, and wound care skills

• Oncology Certified Nurse certification
• Radiation oncology experience
• ACLS certification
• External beam radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy, and radiation safety precautions
