Travel Oncology RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in a small unit serving adolescents, infants, adults and pediatrics on a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit has 5 beds, sees about 40 visits a day and uses Epic charting.

• Assess oncology patients across age groups and update care plans
• Administer IV infusions, medications and symptom management therapies
• Obtain vital signs, collect specimens and support venipuncture and phlebotomy
• Monitor laboratory data, pain, oxygenation and changes in condition
• Provide patient teaching, discharge guidance and follow-up support
• Document care and coordinate with the care team in Epic

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in oncology
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification
• Epic charting system experience

• 5+ years of oncology experience
• OCN certification
