Travel Oncology RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care for oncology patients in an acute care hospital on an 18-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit uses Epic, cares for patients at a 1:4 ratio, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Administer chemotherapy and related infusions
• Monitor blood products, ports, and central lines
• Assess for complications such as neutropenia, sepsis, and anaphylaxis
• Provide supportive care for pain, nausea, dysphagia, and edema
• Support patients with stem cell transplant or CAR-T therapy needs
• Document care in Epic

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ONS or ONCC chemotherapy certification
• 1 year of oncology experience
• Experience with any charting system

• Autologous stem cell transplant experience
• CAR-T therapy patient experience
