Travel Oncology RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide chemotherapy-focused nursing care in an acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic and works with a 1:4 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Administer chemotherapy and related oral, continuous, and blood product therapies
• Monitor ports and central lines for safe access and maintenance
• Assess and respond to neutropenia, tumor lysis, anaphylaxis, and extravasation
• Manage symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, neuropathy, edema, and dysphagia
• Provide oncology nursing care within a 1:4 patient load
• Support chest tube care and other ordered interventions

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification
• 1 year of oncology nursing experience
• Chemotherapy administration, central line care, and blood product skills
• Charting system experience

• Autologous stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy experience
