Travel Occupational Therapist in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. Epic charting is used, with care focused on ADL support, upper extremity assessment, and functional outcomes.

• Evaluate patient function and treatment needs
• Provide ADL retraining and upper extremity interventions
• Recommend adaptive equipment and discharge supports
• Document care plans and progress in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the therapy team
• Adjust treatment plans to support functional outcomes

• Current California Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of acute care occupational therapy experience
• Experience with adaptive equipment

• Epic charting system experience
