Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Mission Viejo, CA

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mission Viejo, California. The unit has 4 rooms, uses Epic, and serves neonates through geriatrics.

• Perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine studies
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and handle radioactive materials safely
• Start and maintain IV access for imaging and stress procedures
• Support cardiac, bone, renal, VQ, parathyroid, and whole-body exams
• Use CT for attenuation correction during PET/CT imaging
• Document exams in Epic and assist across adult and pediatric patients

• ARRT(N), NMTCB, or California nuclear medicine license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
• Siemens imaging system experience
• IV starts and radioactive material handling skills

• PET imaging experience
• CT Advanced Cert
• Epic charting system experience
• Pediatric, NICU/PICU/ICU, PACS, or EKG experience
