Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform basic nuclear medicine studies in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The unit sees adolescents through geriatrics, with most volume from stress tests and very basic studies. Electronic charting is used, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform basic nuclear medicine studies
• Assist with stress testing procedures
• Prepare patients for imaging exams
• Start and maintain IV access
• Acquire and process images
• Monitor patient response during procedures

• California state license
• BLS certification
• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience
• Community hospital experience
• ER, adult ICU, and PACS experience

• Sentinel node imaging experience
• Electronic charting experience
