Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The unit has 2 rooms, moderate daily volume, Epic charting, and patients from pediatrics through geriatrics. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies
• Prepare and position patients for examinations
• Assist with stress testing workflows
• Start and maintain IV access as needed
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
• Process images and document in Epic
• Support care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

• 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience
• California state license
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technology certification or NMTCB certification
• BLS certification
• Community hospital experience
• Starting and maintaining IV access

• Siemens equipment experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Sentinel node imaging experience
