Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will provide nuclear medicine imaging support in an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, California on a 13-week contract. The department handles basic studies and stress testing for adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies for a mixed-age patient population
• Assist with stress testing and related cardiac imaging workflows
• Prepare patients, verify orders, and support safe imaging procedures
• Start and maintain IV access for administered studies
• Operate imaging equipment and capture quality diagnostic images
• Coordinate with the care team and transport staff to manage patient flow

• California state license
• BLS certification
• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
• Community hospital experience
• Experience with adult, pediatric, and geriatric nuclear medicine studies and stress testing

• Epic charting system experience
• Siemens imaging equipment experience
• Sentinel node imaging experience
