Travel NICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill newborns in a hospital neonatal intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 51 beds, uses Cerner, and commonly sees 1:1 to 1:4 patient ratios in a Level III NICU.

• Monitor critically ill newborns and respond to changes
• Administer medications, fluids, and neonatal therapies
• Assess respiratory status and support ventilatory care
• Coordinate care with physicians, RTs, and the team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Cerner
• Educate and support families during care planning

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• NRP certification
• 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience

• STABLE certification
• NIC-RNC certification
