Travel NICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill newborns in a hospital NICU in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit has 51 beds, uses Cerner, and supports ratios from 1:1 to 1:4 for a mixed-acuity neonatal population.

• Monitor neonatal status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, fluids, and ordered therapies
• Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team
• Support parents and families with updates and bedside education
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Cerner
• Provide safe, detail-oriented care for high-acuity newborns

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• NRP certification
• 2 years or more Level III or higher NICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• STABLE certification
• NIC-RNC certification
