Travel NICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill newborns in a hospital neonatal intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and serves a Level III neonatal intensive care population with 1:1 to 1:4 ratios.

• Assess newborns and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, fluids, and feedings as ordered
• Monitor respiratory support and assist with ventilator care
• Track vital signs, labs, intake and output, and progress
• Document patient care in Cerner
• Collaborate with the neonatal care team and family members

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• NRP certification
• 2 years or more of Level III or higher NICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
