Travel Neuro ICU RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will provide intensive neurologic care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The 12-bed neuroscience ICU uses Meditech, has 2:1 ratios, and cares for stroke and other neurocritical patients.

• Monitor neurologic status, vital signs, and response to treatment
• Assist with ventriculostomy, lumbar drain, and intracranial pressure management
• Care for patients after thrombectomy, tPA, and tumor resection procedures
• Perform hourly pupillometer checks and ongoing ICU assessments
• Document care and changes in Meditech

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• ICU experience
• Neuro or stroke patient care experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Neuroscience ICU experience
• Meditech documentation system experience
