Travel Neuro ICU RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will care for high-acuity neuro and general ICU patients in a hospital in Olympia, Washington for a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and supports patients with ventilators, EVDs, and other critical care needs. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor and stabilize high-acuity neuro and ICU patients
• Manage ventilated patients and support airway care
• Assist with EVD, ICP, and post-neurosurgery care
• Administer and titrate sedation, cardiac, and vasoactive drips
• Interpret ABGs and rhythm changes
• Provide coordinated care with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other support teams

• Current Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of neuro ICU or critical care experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Critical care skills with ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, and dysrhythmia management

• CCRN certification
• Hypothermia protocol and Arctic Sun experience
• Post-craniotomy and traumatic brain injury experience
• Pulmonary artery line, Swan Ganz monitoring, and spinal cord injury experience
