Travel Neuro ICU RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will care for neurocritical patients in an acute care hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 32-bed unit uses Meditech charting and supports a 2:1 ratio. It serves a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma Center.

• Monitor neurocritical patients and respond to neurologic changes
• Manage ventilator support and hemodynamic monitoring
• Administer vasoactive medications and other IV therapies
• Assist with chest tube care, ventriculostomy support and CRRT
• Provide care for stroke, trauma and post-op surgical patients
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and support bedside interventions
• Assist with moderate sedation and therapeutic hypothermia protocols

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• 2 years ICU experience
• Neuro ICU, ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring skills

• TNCC
