Travel Neuro ICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for neurological and neurosurgical patients in a 12-bed unit in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 13-week contract. Epic charting is used, and the unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

• Monitor neurologic status and respond to clinical changes
• Provide care for stroke, trauma, and neurosurgical patients
• Administer critical care therapies and medications
• Support ventilated patients and airway care
• Interpret rhythms and assist with dysrhythmia management
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending accepted
• ACLS and BLS
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
• Ventilated patient care, acute stroke care, infection prevention, and dysrhythmia management experience
• Epic charting system experience
