Travel Neuro ICU RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Neuro Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for neurocritical patients in an acute care hospital in Kansas City, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The 32-bed unit uses Meditech, works with stroke and trauma patients, and supports a Comprehensive Stroke Center.

• Manage neurocritical patients with stroke, trauma, and post-op needs
• Administer vasoactive infusions and other IV therapies
• Monitor ventilator status and support airway care
• Track hemodynamics and respond to neurologic changes
• Assist with chest tube management, moderate sedation, CRRT, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and unit support staff

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• 2 years of ICU experience

• TNCC certification
