Travel Neuro ICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will provide intensive care to patients with life-threatening neurological and neurosurgical conditions in a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The 12-bed unit cares for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neurosurgical cases, using Epic charting.

• Monitor neurological status and respond to changes in patient condition
• Provide care for critically ill neuro and neurosurgical patients
• Administer medications and therapies for intensive care needs
• Manage ventilated patients and support airway care
• Coordinate with the care team for complex stroke and trauma cases
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in Epic

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending at start
• ACLS and BLS
• NIH Stroke Certification, pending at start
• 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
