Travel Neuro ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will care for critically ill neuro trauma patients in an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on a 26-week contract. The unit serves neurologic and trauma patients in a critical care setting.

• Monitor neurologic status and vital signs
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses
• Support airway, ventilator, and line care in critical care patients
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns quickly

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Critical care and neuro assessment skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
