Travel Neuro ICU RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will provide care in a neuroscience ICU on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit cares for neuro and stroke patients, has 12 beds, a 2:1 ratio, and uses Meditech charting.

• Monitor neuro and stroke patients in the ICU
• Perform frequent neurologic assessments and pupillometer checks
• Assist with ventriculostomy and lumbar drain management
• Support care after thrombectomy, tPA, tumor resection, and biopsy
• Manage ICU equipment and collaborate on critical care interventions
• Document patient status and communicate changes to the team

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• ICU experience
• Neuro or stroke patient care experience

• Neuroscience ICU experience
• Meditech documentation experience
