Travel Medical Assistant in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant will support general surgery patients in an outpatient clinic on a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The role uses Epic and combines rooming, testing support, and patient follow-up.

• Room patients and collect histories, medications, allergies, height, weight, and vital signs
• Assist with venipuncture, specimen labeling, and urine collection
• Obtain EKGs, pulse oximetry readings, and other basic testing
• Administer medications and support telephone triage and follow-up calls
• Prepare sterile trays, change dressings, and support wound care
• Coordinate scheduling, insurance verification, and authorization forms
• Handle pharmacy calls and patient refill requests

• 2 years of outpatient clinic medical assistant experience
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
• High school diploma or GED
• BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience
• Venipuncture skill

• CMA certification
• Cardiology, orthopedics, or surgery clinic experience
• Sterile tray setup and supply stocking
• Suture removal and wound care
