A Per Diem Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will support patient care in a primary care/family medicine residency clinic in San Diego, California. The role focuses on back-office support and outpatient workflow.

• Room patients and collect vital signs
• Administer injections and assist with EKGs
• Support back-office procedures and simple wound care
• Operate retinal photo camera for screening
• Complete meter downloads and related documentation
• Assist physicians with patient flow

• Medical Assistant certification
• Experience with rooming, vital signs, injections, EKGs, back-office procedures, and simple wound care
• Experience with retinal photo camera use and meter downloads
• Strong communication and documentation skills
