Travel Medical Assistant in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant will support outpatient women’s health care in a clinic on a 13 week contract in Los Angeles, California. The role serves adults with OB visits, GYN consults, and reproductive health needs and uses Epic charting.

• Room patients and collect vital signs, histories, and medication information
• Obtain blood and specimen samples using venipuncture and lab collection techniques
• Assist with OB/GYN office procedures and basic testing support
• Support patient questions, follow-up calls, and escalation of concerns
• Document care and review results in Epic
• Follow infection prevention standards and participate in team huddles

• Medical assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program
• High school diploma or GED
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, including 1 year in OB/GYN
• Venipuncture and blood draw proficiency
• Epic charting experience
