Travel Medical Assistant in Playa Vista, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant will support a high-volume outpatient primary care clinic on a 13-week contract in Playa Vista, California. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, uses Epic, and supports phlebotomy.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, histories, and medication lists
• Prepare exam and procedure rooms for visits
• Administer injections, immunizations, and oral medications as directed
• Draw blood and prepare specimens for lab work
• Clean and reprocess equipment and supplies following clinic guidelines
• Support patient calls and provider-directed follow-up tasks

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program
• BLS certification
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience in internal or family medicine
• Recent venipuncture experience
• Epic charting system experience

• General or family practice experience
• Internal medicine experience
• Ordering and stocking supplies
• Appointment scheduling experience
