Travel Medical Assistant in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant Medical Assistant will support adults in an outpatient women's reproductive health clinic on a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The role serves an OB/GYN office with visits, consults, and procedures, and uses Epic charting.

• Room patients and collect histories
• Take vital signs and update records
• Perform blood draws, specimen collection, and venipuncture
• Assist with OB/GYN procedures and patient preparation
• Support medication administration, immunizations, and laboratory testing
• Respond to patient questions and route concerns to clinical staff
• Document care in Epic and follow infection prevention standards

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, including 1 year in an OB/GYN clinic
• BLS certification
• Venipuncture proficiency
• Epic charting system experience
