Travel Medical Assistant in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant Medical Assistant will support outpatient care in a women's reproductive health clinic on a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The role serves adults in an OB/GYN office and uses Epic.

• Room patients and prepare them for visits
• Obtain vital signs, histories, and medication lists
• Collect blood and specimens, including venipuncture
• Support lab labeling, urine testing, and point-of-care tasks
• Assist with patient questions, concerns, and follow-up calls
• Help with gynecologic procedures and patient preparation
• Support quality checks, infection prevention, and daily workflow

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, including 1 year in OB/GYN clinic
• BLS certification
• Venipuncture experience
• Epic charting experience
