Travel Medical Assistant in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant will support women's health patients in an outpatient clinic in Los Angeles, California on a 13-week contract. The role serves adult OB/GYN patients, uses Epic charting, and supports rooming and clinic procedures in a busy office setting.

• Room patients and collect histories, vital signs, heights, weights, and medication updates
• Draw blood, collect specimens, and prepare samples for labeling and review
• Assist with Pap smears, colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon, and NSTs
• Support telephone triage, follow-up calls, and patient questions
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed
• Track quality checks, infection prevention practices, and workflow improvements

• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, including 1 year in OB/GYN clinic
• Medical assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
• High school diploma or GED
• BLS
• Venipuncture and blood draw proficiency
• Epic charting system experience
• Adult rooming, telephone triage, specimen labeling, and medication administration skills
