Travel Medical Assistant in Novato, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant will support patient care as a Medical Assistant in an acute care hospital in Novato, California on a 13-week contract.

• Room patients and collect vital signs, visit reasons, and symptom details
• Document patient information in electronic medical records and task lists
• Administer ordered injections and immunizations
• Assist during medical procedures and with provider requests
• Perform point-of-care testing and quality controls
• Track ordered test results, manage referrals, and support lab and prescription follow-up
• Clean exam rooms, maintain supplies, and complete instrument sterilization and scope reprocessing

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program
• Current active California license
• BLS certification
• One year of related medical assisting experience in a physician’s office or other clinical setting

• Epic experience
• Reprocessing, procedural, and scope or probe sterilization experience
