Travel Medical Assistant in Culver City, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant will support an outpatient clinic in Culver City, California on a 13-week contract. The clinic sees adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, handles 100+ patients per day, and uses Epic charting.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, histories, medications, and allergies
• Draw blood and collect and label specimens
• Administer injections, immunizations, and TB testing
• Perform EKGs, glucose checks, pulse oximetry, and vision testing
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, suture removal, and ear lavage
• Support telephone triage, follow-up calls, and insurance and authorization tasks

• 2 years of outpatient clinic medical assistant experience
• Medical assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
• High school diploma or GED
• BLS from AHA or ARC
• Recent venipuncture and Epic charting experience
• Comfort with pediatric patients

• General family practice or internal medicine experience
• Pediatric experience
• Biopsy support experience
