Travel Medical Assistant in Claremont, NH

A Travel Medical Assistant will provide direct patient care in physician practices and outpatient clinics on a 13-week contract in Claremont, New Hampshire. The role supports adult and pediatric outpatient visits, uses an electronic medical record, and includes point of care testing and patient prep.

• Room patients and collect vital signs, histories, and intake information
• Perform point of care testing, phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection
• Prepare patients and rooms for office procedures using aseptic technique
• Document care in the electronic medical record and other clinical systems
• Answer patient calls and route concerns to the appropriate staff
• Support workflow, supplies, and quality improvement activities

• National Medical Assistant certification
• Current BLS certification
• Pediatric outpatient experience
• Skill in phlebotomy, injections, vital signs, and specimen collection
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation
