Travel Medical Assistant in Boston, MA

A Travel Oncology Medical Assistant will support patients in an outpatient oncology clinic in Boston, Massachusetts on a 13-week contract. The role works across exam, infusion, and procedure areas with Epic charting. Patients include sarcoma, melanoma, immunotherapy, and phase I clinical trial populations.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Record histories, medications, and allergies
• Assist with exams, biopsies, and procedure setup
• Collect, label, and process specimens
• Perform EKGs and prepare exam rooms
• Provide direct patient care support in infusion and procedure areas

• BLS certification
• CMA credential
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• 2 years of experience in a Medical Assistant, Clinical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, or related clinical role

• Oncology experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
