Travel Medical Assistant in Austin, TX

A Travel Certified Medical Assistant will support patient intake, rooming, and basic clinical care in an occupational and emergency medicine unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The role supports high-volume visits with lab work, specimen collection, vital signs, and general imaging support.

• Perform patient intake and rooming
• Take vital signs and document visit information
• Collect urine specimens and other lab samples
• Draw blood for laboratory testing
• Administer vaccines and routine injections
• Assist with x-rays and other general clinical tasks

• Certified Medical Assistant credential
• NCT or LMRT certification
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection skills
• Vital signs and patient intake skills

• Urgent care experience
• Occupational medicine experience
• Orthopedics experience
