Travel Medical Assistant in Anaheim, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant will support patient rooming and clinical intake in an outpatient clinic for a 13-week contract in Anaheim, California. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, and uses Epic for charting.

• Room patients and prepare exam spaces
• Obtain vital signs, height and weight, and pulse oximetry
• Record histories, medications, and allergies
• Assist with blood draws and specimen handling
• Support patient communication, follow-up calls, and clinic flow

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• 1 year of outpatient or ambulatory experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Rooming patients, vital signs, pulse oximetry, height and weight, and recording histories, medications, and allergies

• CMA certification
• Venipuncture
• Wound care and dressing changes
• Orthopedics, casting, insurance verification, authorization forms, telephone triage, and pharmacy calls
