Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Muncie, IN

A Travel Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for cardiac observation patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Muncie, Indiana. The unit averages 25 patients, often manages chest pain, heart failure, and alcohol withdrawal, and uses Cerner charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Assess and care for chest pain and heart failure patients
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Manage ports, PICC lines, and peripheral IVs
• Support oxygen therapy, isolation precautions, and wound care
• Document patient status and coordinate care with the team

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 years of medical-surgical/telemetry experience
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• IV therapy, blood product administration, and line care

• Chest tube care and management
• Feeding tube care and management
• Rapid response and code team experience
• Cerner charting experience
