Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Attleboro, MA

A Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for med-surg and telemetry overflow patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The unit uses Cerner and serves medical, surgical and observation patients with 1:5 ratios. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and assess cardiac rhythms
• Administer IV insulin per protocol
• Manage Cardizem and amiodarone infusions
• Provide nursing care for medical, surgical and observation patients
• Document assessments, treatments and responses in Cerner
• Collaborate with nurses and support staff on overflow patient care

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications
• 2 years of PCU or telemetry experience
• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• IV insulin protocol experience
• Cerner charting experience

• Experience in busy overflow unit settings
