Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for neuro telemetry patients in a short term acute care hospital in Lubbock, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit averages 27 patients daily, uses EPIC, and serves stroke, trauma, epilepsy monitoring, and neurosurgical patients. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Assess neuro and medical-surgical patients
• Support stroke, seizure, and post-neurosurgery care
• Administer oxygen therapy and manage peripheral lines
• Apply isolation precautions and safe mobility techniques
• Collaborate with rapid response and therapy teams

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Telemetry, peripheral line, and oxygen therapy skills
• Any charting system experience

• Neuro stepdown experience
• Remote telemetry monitoring
• Stroke and neurosurgical care
• Level II trauma experience
