Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Fishers, IN

A Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct care on a medical surgical unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Fishers, Indiana. The unit serves adults and geriatric patients, has 32 beds, and uses Cerner charting. It is a community hospital setting with a varied patient mix.

• Provide direct care for adult and geriatric medical surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and oxygen support
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, peripheral IVs, and hemodialysis support
• Assist with chest tubes, drains, feeding tubes, CBI, and wound care
• Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and care coordination

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of medical surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• Cerner charting experience
• Experience managing up to 6:1 patient ratios and performing IV, central line, and telemetry care

• NIHSS certification
• Dysrhythmia interpretation
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Charge nurse experience
