Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient nursing care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in a hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa.

• Monitor telemetry patterns and escalate changes
• Assess medical-surgical patients and prioritize care
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Coordinate treatments with the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses
• Educate patients and families on recovery
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
