Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Boston, MA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in an acute care hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on an 8-week contract. The role supports telemetry monitoring, 12-lead EKGs, blood transfusions, and lasix infusions in a teaching level I trauma hospital using Epic. Patients include neurology, cardiac, oncology, transplant, vascular, general medicine, and surgical populations.

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac status
• Perform nursing assessments and update plans of care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products
• Assist with 12-lead EKGs and lasix infusions
• Care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the team

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 3+ years of related medical-surgical or telemetry experience
• Prior travel experience
• Epic experience and basic computer navigation
• Level I trauma experience

• Teaching hospital experience
• Specialty area expertise in medical-surgical and telemetry care
