About this job

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Ratios are 5:1 on med surg and 4:1 on telemetry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess medical-surgical and telemetry patients
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
  • Document patient status and care plans
  • Educate patients and families on care needs
  • Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning

Qualifications

  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
  • 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
  • NURSYS verification
  • Annual core competency completion
