Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Milton, MA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide acute medical-surgical telemetry care in a hospital for an 8-week contract in Milton, Massachusetts. The unit uses Epic, has no telemetry technicians, and nurses read and interpret their own strips.

• Assess medical-surgical telemetry patients and monitor for rhythm changes
• Administer medications and carry out the plan of care
• Interpret cardiac strips and report clinical changes promptly
• Document care in Epic and update the care team
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff on patient needs
• Respond to changes in condition and provide bedside nursing care

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• 2+ years of recent acute medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Epic charting experience and telemetry strip interpretation
