Travel Med Surg RN in Waterloo, IA

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a general med surg unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Waterloo, Iowa. The unit cares for adult patients with varied medical and surgical needs. The role supports assessment, medication administration, care coordination, and patient education.

• Assess adult medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Monitor vital signs and report changes
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document care, responses, and care plans
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge needs

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
