Travel Med Surg RN in Elkader, IA

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a critical access hospital med/surg unit on a 13-week contract in Elkader, Iowa.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Coordinate care with providers and support staff
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Prepare patients for admissions, transfers, and discharge teaching
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
• PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
