A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide care for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The role supports a general inpatient unit with mixed adult care needs.

• Assess orthopedic and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor vital signs, pain, and recovery
• Administer medications and coordinate treatments
• Assist with mobility, wound care, and safety
• Educate patients and families on care plans
• Document care and communicate changes

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NIHSS
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong orthopedic and medical-surgical assessment skills
• Safe medication administration and documentation skills
