Travel Med Surg RN in Mason City, IA

A Travel Infusion Registered Nurse will provide infusion care in an outpatient hospital-based medical oncology unit on a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The setting supports patients receiving oncology treatment in a hospital-based infusion room.

• Administer infusion therapies and medications
• Monitor patients for treatment reactions and tolerance
• Prepare and maintain infusion room workflow
• Coordinate care with the oncology team
• Document assessments, interventions and patient response
• Educate patients on treatment plans and aftercare

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ONS provider card with chemotherapy and immunotherapy course completion
• NIHSS certification
