A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide patient care on a neurology unit in an acute care hospital for a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The unit focuses on neurology care in an acute care hospital.

• Monitor neurologic and medical-surgical status
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Complete focused assessments and report changes
• Coordinate care with the nursing team and providers
• Document patient progress and responses to care
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient education

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Medical-surgical and neurologic nursing skills
• Strong patient assessment and documentation skills

• NIHSS certification
